Crystal Riley

Senior Director, Head of Enspira Startup Studio

Crystal has over 10 years of experience in investment banking, client management, human resources and talent acquisition. Prior to Enspira, she held roles at Biogen, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and Barclays. She holds an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business, an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Finance and International Business and is an active alumna within her academic communities. Crystal is based in Boston and is an avid traveler, sports enthusiast, and loves trying new recipes.

Anika Briner

Director, Human Capital

Anika has over 13 years of diverse Human Resources experience, crossing disciplines between the HR Generalist function, Talent Development, and Technology & Operations. Prior to Enspira she worked in multiple fast-growth startups, including Pinterest and Mozilla. Most recently, Anika led the HR Strategy & Operations team for Old Navy, while also participating as the co-chair of Gap Inc.’s Women in Leadership Employee Resource Group. Anika earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Based in the SF Bay Area, Anika enjoys running, wine tasting, and hanging out at the pool or golf course with her husband and sons.

Aaron Cohen

Director, Human Capital

Aaron has over 15 years of experience across Human Capital and Business Process Consulting and leading various in-house HR roles at Nissan (US and Europe) and Change Healthcare. For the past three years, he has been applying, teaching, and facilitating Human-Centric Design / Design Thinking methodology across workforce transformation and customer and employee experience initiatives. He has a BS in Economics and Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from The George Washington University School of Business. Aaron and his wife enjoy trying out new recipes in the kitchen, experimenting with new food and wine while traveling, and enjoying time with friends and their two black labs.

Peter Lesser

Manager, Human Capital

Peter is a recent MBA graduate of Northeastern University with a vast, diverse background in brand management, innovation, design and more. Prior to graduate school, he began his career in New York City as a freelance brand consultant and multimedia producer for tech startups. Over time, he shifted into the hospitality industry, co-founding his own restaurant consultancy that worked with new and struggling enterprises. In 2017, he returned to Boston to pursue his MBA with a focus in corporate innovation. Peter is a lifelong musician and adventurer. When not working, you can find him playing music, hiking deep into the mountains, or watching his favorite TV shows with his partner in Boston, MA.

Renee Rosenkranz

Manager, Human Capital

Renee has spent the past 6 years as a dynamic coach, administrator, and advocate of improving organizational efficiencies. Prior to Enspira, Renee earned a Masters of Science degree in Leadership and Administration from the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's degree from Emory University where she participated on the varsity swim team and was a 13-time All-American. She has worked in higher education, collegiate athletics, and a variety of fitness and wellness centers. Renee is based in Rochester, NY with her fiance Jay. Both are highly active and enjoy taking their coonhound and miniature Austrian Shepard on adventures.

Katie Leffel

Specialist, Human Capital

Katie is a recent graduate from Saint Lawrence University, where she earned a Bachelor of Art in Business and Economics and minored in Film Studies. She was involved with a wide range of student organizations and held multiple leadership positions in her Greek organization while at school. Based in Connecticut, Katie enjoys traveling, running, and photography.
