Director, Project Management

In this role you’ll work as part of our PMO team to support client engagements through internal project management and direct client project support. Your primary activities will include socializing and improving the Enspira project methodology, consulting on project management best practices, managing engagements and building additional project service offerings.

Responsibilities 

  • Expert project controls capability across scope, schedule, quality, risk, resource and stakeholder management
  • The ability to develop a strong relationship with our key clients to open and secure new opportunities, ensure continuing growth for a capital projects business stream while seeking to continuously improve the performance of the team to delight the client
  • Managing operational processes, promoting consistent delivery to a high level of quality and adherence to contractual obligations
  • Create and manage the Project Management Plan including the project control metrics for monitoring time, cost, and quality progress
  • Monitor and control the quality management process, manage expectations, conduct milestone reviews, manage process performance, conduct continuous improvement and causal analysis activities
  • Knowledge and proven application of general asset management processes and risk assessment techniques related to large scale infrastructure management.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project costs to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, scope, risks, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage contracts by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Familiarity and experience with HR processes preferred
  • Experience with resource management and associated software tools preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proficient in predictive, incremental, iterative, and agile methodologies a plus
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience with HR technology and implementations a plus
